IGUAÇU PICHER The Iguaçu picher is a two-sided vessel with dual spouts, echoing a split geography. The falls, shared between Argentina and Brazil, are condensed here into one liter. Two flows, two borders, one continuous movement. Its symmetry allows a simultaneous pour, mimicking erosion as water carves through rock.

The conical grip, coated in a ceramic, rock-like texture, suggests a raw, natural surface, yet reveals itself as an artificial skin. This play on appearance echoes immersive fictions where the boundaries between the real and the constructed blur.

Here, the tromple-l’oeil exposes the artifice in our relationship to the natural sublime, while pointing
to a persistent desire to grasp it, shape it,
and ultimately contain it.
