HAWAI AIRPORT MIRROR The Hawaii Airport mirror reflects more than a silhouette but it stages a departure. Already there, suitcase open, trying on a curated version of escape. But the luggage exceeds the limit, and the dream stalls. Paradise appears as image: sandblasted glass, palm trees, a shared fiction. Behind it lies a transformed territory, shaped to be consumed.

Airports, as described by Michel Foucault’s heterotopias, are spaces in between, real yet suspended, structured by control and transit. The mirror echoes this condition, holding everything in between, suspended and caught between projection and the quiet impossibility of leaving.
